cropping images

As my main task had so specific shot for the magazine cover, i decided to have a look into shot sizes again and into cropping. It is something that when i asked class mates, they said it was important as it can either attract an audience or repel them. So i decided to look into cropping a picture and look at the different effects a picture can give off. It is also a way of creating more than one picture within one.

This is the main photo which i started off with.
It is from a newspaper and is of a protester after being
sprayed with pepper spray during a demonstration.
From the Guardian website.
I have cropped 4 images within this picture.
Each picture suggests something different.
This is the first picture which i cropped from  the main picture, i think that the lady in pain is still shown, however you have no idea that she is a protestor. We can not see that she is getting help, she could be all alone. We do not know whether she is 'good' or 'bad', we just know that she is in pain.
This is the second picture which i cropped from the main picture, if we did not know that it was a protestor it would look like the man with the goggles could be harassing the lady.
This is the third picture which i cropped from the main picture, i think that it looks like a man doing his wood work, or maybe climbing something.  It definitely does not look like a man helping a protestor.
