Brainstorm

This is a brain storm i had today in class about ideas i have for my final  magazine  genre with appropriate current magazines which link to them so i can see if there are any gaps in the current market to make my idea original. The idea of doing a magazine based on current musicals stood out for me. So i looked in the internet and found a musical magazine called 'musical opinion'. It didn't come across as hugely attractive or popular and it seemed more of a critics magazine rather then enjoying the music. So even if there isn't a huge gap in the market for this one, i think there is still a gap and what is out there is something which could be improved and allowing people to enjoy the old classics again. I  think that it has the potential to be accessible to a range of ages as if i give it the 'cooler' look, it could also be read by the 16-25 range. I think though that most males will not have an intrest in this music unless is it for a specific reason. I am going to look into the theme of 'Musical Music' further to begin with.
