Evaluation of primary task

For creating my primary task, firstly, i took the photos using digital Fuji F550 camera. It is an easy camera to use but generally gives sharp results. I then imported the pictures onto my computer and transfered them into Photoshop where i cropped and straightened the picture and then added a greyish filter but i didn't add the filter to the maximum as i wanted the greenness on the shirt of the model to be seen still. I also brought up the contrast to make the picture bolder. 

       After adding these features in photoshop, i transfered it to InDesign. Here is where i put together the magazine cover. I used a continuous font for all the copy and i imported a barcode which i found on Google Images. Even though it was hard to get use to, i found InDesign was relatively easy to use, i think that as i know how to use basic photoshop, it helped me to adjust to InDesign aswel. 

Overall, i am pleased with the result of my primary task. If this was the result for my final piece i would not be pleased with it but i think that for a preparation task, it was successful and now i feel confident to use photoshop and InDesign for my final music magazine.
