WIZARD OF OZ, THE However,i was thinking that i could also add in to the magazine classical musicals such as Oliver Twist, Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. Even though they are not currently on the west end, i think that the buyers of the magazine are people who are into musicals so are bound to have seen the classics. - Also money is another factor of the age who they magazine is aimed at. I do not think that a 18 year old would have enough money to be frequently visiting the theatre. However, there still are shows which are based at that age group, such as legally blonde, so maybe musicals are. However, the age group for Legally blonde is wide as i have seen from personal experience, because when i was in the audience, there were 18/19 year olds but also families with teenage children and older people were in the audience. I was thinking of ways to find out who the magazine would be based at. I was thinking of a questionnaire but i think that it is a bit of a hassle and people never return them on time, or they get lost. So i thought of an idea to choose 3/5 people from a few different age groups and verbally asking them a few questions and getting into a little conversation about if a musical magazine is something which appeals to them and if so, what would they want it to include. So firstly, i thought of the age groups i could speak to and i made a decision of: up to 14 15-24 25-34 35-44 45-60 60+ I will make a table for when i speak to the different ages and then i will scan it in once i finish interviewing all the people and then write up a conclusion and hopefully the conclusion will involve the age group i will aim the magazine at. The questions i want to bring up in the interview is firstly, does a musical magazine appeal to them and if they would buy it, how often they go to the theatre, who they usually go with, what sort of play they see, if the old classics are something which appeals to them and if they are they interested in the back stage gossip. |
