Also, as i said, someone brought up that i could make it international, but when thinking about this, I do no think that i would be interested in reading about a musical which is on around the world. I know that i am more interested in reading about local musicals, because even though it is not a magazine to advertise/ criticises musicals in particular, i want it to involve musicals which the readers can realistically go and see. Also, if it is a local magazine, on the front i could advertise freebees such as free tickets to a local musical. If this was international then i could not. By reviewing and summing up both points which i discussed in class about whether it should be a magazine based at all ages, and all countries. I have decided against it and to focus on a certain age group who are more interested in musicals (this is something which i need to look into closer) and i will keep it local and based on west-end musicals.

Who would be the audience?
In class on monday, we were discussing with the class what the whole idea of a 'musical' would include. I originally though i would base it on just west end musicals. However the idea of bringing up current TV musicals into it such as 'glee' and someone even mentioned how i could make it international and include hits on broadway. I think that these are both important points. I know i said earlier that a musical magazine would include a wide range of the target audience, i also think that a middle aged man, who would potentially buy a musical magazine, would not be wanting to revive a 'glee' poster in an issue. So i think that the age range isn't as wide as i though it could be.
